James Horner Dead!

James Horner.
James Horner was killed in a plane crash in Souther California, 60 miles North of Santa Barbara. The two seater S-312 Tucano MK1 turbo-prop was said to have Horner as well as the pilot who died. Confirmed by Sylvia Patrycja, his assistant and Jay Cooper, a Horner family lawyer, however, the conditions surrounding the crash are still being investigated

After composing scores for over 100 movies in his career, notably The Amazing Spider-Man, Braveheart, Jumanji and receiving 10 Oscar nominations for his work on Aliens and known as the only composer to have worked on the two highest-grossing movies in history: Avatar and Titanic. Avatar, claiming the highest selling orchestral soundtrack ever and also two Academy Awards for "My Heart Will Go On" as the Best Original Dramatic Score for his work on Titanic.
