Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Teaser Trailer

There has been an awakening... And due before Christmas this year Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will hit cinemas. A fifteen second clip was posted on the franchises official and only +Instagram account as a promo for the upcoming movie without giving away any plot points - teaser. The teaser showed The First Order (a vast amount of Stormtroopers), Rey in distress, Kylo Ren once again and most significantly Finn weilding a ligthsaber in the same forest as Kylo Ren.

Captain America's team includes Hawkeye, Falcon (and Red Wing), Winter Soldier, Ant Man and Sharon Carter a.k.a. Agent 13, while Iron Man's team includes War Machine, Black Widow, Vision and Black Panther.

Both Spider - Man and Scarlet Witch were both absent in both photos because +Marvel Entertainment is yet to confirm their appearances in the movie. Captain America: Civil War just finished filming in Germany last week. The film is due to open to cinema's 16th May, 2016.

Rise of the Tomb Raider Collectors Edition

Available only at the +Square Enix store or the +Tomb Raider store, the collectors edition will include the game itself, a Jade necklace (her first archeological discovery), 12 inch statue, a steel book, a replica of Lara Croft's Journal.

+Square Enix has also confirmed that the PC version of the game comes early 2016, while being available to other platforms after a year - It won't be available on PS4 until Holiday 2016.

New Assassin's Creed Movie Poster

First ever photos have been revealed of the upcoming +Assassin's Creed movie showing Michael Fassbender as Aguilar, a new assassin created just for cinematic purposes. Fassbender will also play as Callum Lynch, the modern day descendant of the 15th century who are connected geneticaly.

+Assassin's Creed is past pre production stage and will start filming next week in London, Malta and Spain. The film opens to cinemas on 21st December, 2015.

Batman V Superman; Dawn of Justice Update.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Despite not being available until 25th March 2016, it didnt stop a sypnosis for the potential blockbuster to be released. the plot reads "Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before." In other words we would find our selves watching a movie where two if not three of our most iconic +DC Entertainment characters beat the sense out of each other. In addition, rumours have surfaced about the potential cameo appearances of other +DC Entertainment characters like Joker or the Joker/Jason Todd story, Doomsday, members of the Suicide Squad and even Zod (The Krytonian General killed by Superman in +Man of Steel) and will aim to give a sense of connection between the two movies.

Brave Coward.

On this terrazzo, with the doors of my sight in a downward slide and the sentries bowing down as if paying homage to Apollo, I took a familiar voyage to Neverland. This time Captain Hook was so nice and harmless in a Cumberbatch kinda way and his English accent I just couldn't get enough of. On his head the beauty sat, a fedora which seemed to be rocking the head so comfortably that I doubted she will ever consent to the noble captain's request of she coming down afterwards. Mr Smee's (Captain Hook's henchman) pleasant attitude and his Ryan Gosling's charm was what got me to start thinking that I was probably in a movie and that Cumberbatch has as usual given this character(Hook) his midas touch too... because there's no limit to a man who was able to make me cry for Khan Noonien Singh (the villain in Star trek into darkness) , but it wasn't.

At first it was a smooth sail, the crew were happy and well you know how it is when an English man is around brew.... am talking Bronn in one of those Westerosi taverns!! (Game of Thrones). Then it happened, there was chaos everywhere, screams!! People desperately holding on to any avaliable rope or beam... the looks in their eyes made plain what their voices didn't have the courage to say.. "we are scared of dying ".... well I got to play the hero who saved the day by waking the hell up since I too was scared of dying... Duh!!!

Surviving a shipwreck by the skin of my teeth made me realise that my childhood dream of being a pirate was just my childish crush on Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow trying to make himself heard and that my other dream of living into my late 70's and winning so many Oscars like Jack Nicholson wouldn't allow me to have the stomach for such things..... Life over death, I guess. 
Throughout history, Man's determination to hold on to life at all costs has been evident in his deeds both (questionable and unquestionable) and as such shouldn't be overemphasised, even the questionable deeds shows the extent of his desperation.

The Zong massacre of the late sixteenth century, even though the act of the crew throwing slaves overboard into the sea to drown, in order that the remainder could survive when the ship ran low on potable water following navigational mistakes, was perceived as racial discrimination and for its financial benefits, it is still an act of survival by man to still hold on to this our mortal coil even at the expense of another's.

Nat Turner's declaration of jihad on the whites through his 19th century slave rebellion which resulted in over fifty white deaths was also an act of survival and man's love for life. Slavery just wasn't enough to get man to give up on life,in fact the live of life seem to sprout from the buds of hardship and suffering. Idk if it's just me or is there something about this struggle that makes it so divine?. It's obvious that even the sword of Damocles wouldn't do the trick of man to abandon life.

Life in the forest understory can resemble life in a war zone. For many plants, every day is a battle as native plants struggle to hold onto their territory while invading plants seek to gain a foothold. Animals too go this far for life, to keep on with their struggle and cling on to life. Watching my brother those days during xmas and Easter slaughter chicken for our family consumption got me racking my brain with questions about life since even the ones that we seem to be doing a favour by putting out of their miserable lives will always struggle and kickback at the executioner as the guillotine falls. Why would even animals go thus far??? Why this eternal struggle in the ecosystem??

Who would bear the whips and scorns of time?? ..... who would bear to grunt and sweat under a weary life??. These questions got me going all Veronica Mars on life. Man's bravery is rooted in fear.... the uncertainty of the next step is the reason he's still on the last one. Man's loyalty to life is questionable. The answer to all these questions have always been with us... we cling on to life for the same purpose we don't want to let it go , the devil we know is better than the angels we don't. The scare of the Unknown, what would be made bare at that place beyond the pines... the place beyond the horizon of our present knowledge... Valour turned out to be the final stage of fear. It is the Dread of the undiscovered country from whose bounds no traveller returns that puzzles the will and makes us bear the ills we have than fly to those we know not of.... and thus the conscience makes cowards of us all. The frail flesh, this ailing shell.

The Maze Runner : The Scorch Trials Looms.

Maze Runner director Wes Ball recently revealed a brand new international poster for The Scorch Trials  and it is smoking hot — literally.!!

The Scorch Trials which is the second movie in the Maze Runner trilogy!. The image shows a map of the maze going up in flames as a lone runner — presumably Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) — bolts out into the world beyond.!! 

The struggles of the Gladers are far from over. After successfully making it out of the maze, Thomas, Teresa, Minho, and the othersurvivors search for clues about WCKD through the Scorch, a desolate wasteland filled with horrific obstacles. 

Btw, Game of thrones Lord Peter Bellish and Missandei are also going to blow our minds in this one!!

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials will hit U.S. theaters on Sept. 18 and French theaters Oct. 7.

Toy Story 4 Details

Toy Story 4.

Toy Story 4 has been confirmed for a while now and tagged with a Friday, 16th June 2017 release date, having its story written by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack.

John Lasseter the director of the original, Toy Story and its sequel Toy Story 2 will return to the helm as his last Pixar movie having been Cars 2 .

The way Toy Story 3 ended seemed final; a nostalgic vision of Woody, Buzz and the gang, Andy giving (setting free) his toys for a younger child and then and there calling their adventure to a close. What would be the need of Toy Story 4? Lasseter reiterates "At Pixar and at Disney, we only make sequels if we come up with a story that’s as good or better than the original. That’s our rule. We don’t do things just to print money." Cars 2 is definitely an example of an irrelevant sequel.

Bo Peep, Woody's love interest in the original 1995 computer animated film as voiced by Annie Pots, and didn't appear in Toy Story 3 and it was implied that she was sold at the end of Toy Story 3, I'll take a big guess and say that's where this is heading.

Toy Story 4 will be a new take in a franchise now worth $1.3 billion.

Disney Reveal Cast for Star Wars: Rogue One.

Disney has revealed the cast for Star Wars: Rogue One, the previously thought Star Wars Anthology movie via a photo.

The cast members include Felicity Jones, Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna, Jiang Wen, Donnie Yen, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen and Alan Tudyk.

The movie is set to take off before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope (1977). Someone has the plans for the Empire's Death Star which prompts Darth Vader's reaction in the first scene.

Kathleen Kennedy, +LucasFilm said in a statement"Rogue One Takes Place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope and will be a departure from the saga films but have elements that are familiar to the Star Wars universe, it goes into a new territory, exploring the galactic struggle from a ground-war perspective while maintaining that essential Star Wars feel that fans have come to know"

Star Wars Episode IX has a director in Colin Trevorrow of +Jurassic World , after recently confirming that JJ Abrams - who is already on The Force Awakens would not direct Episode IX as well as Collin Trevorrow not directing the Jurassic World sequel as originally thought.

Disney's The Lion Guard.

At D23, +Disney announced a brand new television series titled, The Lion Guard, the show will be based on The Lion King and will premiere early next year on +Disney Channel. In addition, a movie titled The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar which tells the story of Simba's second-born cub, Kion, who seeks to lead the Lion Guard and protect the Pride Lands will serve a a prelude to the series.

James Earl Jones and Ernie Sabella will return to reprise their roles as Mufasa and Pumba respectively, the only two returning actors from the original 1994 masterpiece, Rob Lowe will voice Simba, Gabrielle Union will voice Nala and Max Charles will star as Kion.

Jurassic World 2 Will Appear in the UK First?

On 7th June 2018 the sequel to Jurassic World would open to cinemas in the United Kingdom, just over two weeks before it comes the way of North America. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Colin Trevorrow, director of Jurassic World and co-scriptwriter Derek Connolly would all return with Steven Spielberg being an executive producer again in the franchise. Jurassic World has become the third highest grossing movie of all time, leading The Avengers by a billion and half ($1, 582, 200, 347).

Straight Outta Compton: The Movie Review.

The City of Compton has really made a name for herself through her Sons and daughters!   

The Compton Rappers never fail to rep the City!! The huge names in the rap game... like Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Game, Kendrick lamar,even Tyga. 

Kendrick lamar took us back to Compton in his album "To pimp a butterfly ". Dr Dre in his album "Compton" named after the City,  brought other Compton rappers on board! And Now "Straight Outta Compton" the story of the pioneering hip-hop group N.W.A, is stylish. It’s got a dope beat. And fans of a certain age will be able to rap right along to it. It also lands at a pivotal moment in American race relations, as the Black Lives Matter movement addresses police violence against unarmed African-American citizens.

It really doesn't get bigger than Compton!!

Mortal Kombat Movie?

Mortal Kombat, 1995.

A new Mortal Kombat movie might be forthcoming, it is not confirmed it would follow or precede the 1995 classics, only that director James Wan, director of Furious 7/Fast and Furious 7 will only be on as a producer. Characters that would appear haven't been revealed as well. The 2015 video game, Mortal Kombat X having a strong position in sales might tip things in their favour.
