Reporting that the Earth has Three Trillion trees but loses Ten Billion trees a year, collecting information of tree density from 400k plots worldwide.
The Good News: There are Seven times more trees than estimated
The Bad News: There are 50% less trees than before human civilisation
The study also showed that for every Five Billion trees grown each year, Fifteen Billion Trees are cut down (that's a net loss of Ten Billion trees every year. However some places have lost more trees than others and at this rate we will run out of trees in 300 years.
