Another Netflix original series based on characters from Marvel's awesome cinematic universe is coming in the form of Jessica Jones, starring Krysten Ritter as a former super heroine who intends to start afresh by working as a private investigator but faces challenges on the way as she is haunted by a terrible past. Taking place the same time as the events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe moments before the Superhero franchise The Defenders is formed. Also starting would be David Tennant (Kilgrave), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Tachel Taylor (Trish Walker) and Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeryn Hogarth). Jessica Jones would debut on Netflix on Friday, 20th November 2015 and would have all episodes available as usual.

Justice League Movie in Search for The Queen of Atlantis

The Justice League movie coming 2017 is looking for the Queen of Atlantis to play a vital role alongside Aquaman a.k.a. Jason Momoa as Mera.

Mera isn't only Aquaman's love interest but the queen of a warring division of the Atlanteans who's eventual marriage with Aquaaman helps unite the two factions. Zack Snyder will be on to direct yet another +DC Entertainment movie in Justice League: Part One which Opens on November 17 2015 followed by Jason Momoa's superhero and Aquaman's theatrical debut on July 27, 2018.

Simon Kinberg, the producer of the movie X-Men: Apocalypse says the first trailer of the movie will make its debut ahead of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. X-Men: Apocalypse opens in May 2016.

Nicole Kidman Tipped for Wonder Woman Role

Nicole Kidman.

The Oscar winner is being touted for a role in Detective Comics' Wonder Woman Movie, likely a high ranking Amazonian alongside Gal Gadot.

Speculation commits that she's likely to take on the role of Hyppolyta, the Queen of the Amazons and Diana Prince's biological mother, but who knows if the movie will stick to that storyline?

A confirmation for the Wonder Woman movie will see Nicole Kidman return to +DC Entertainment as another character, having previously appeared in 1995's Batman Forever as Dr. Chase Meridian. Wonder Woman is set to begin filming soon with director Patty Jenkins at the helm.
