Alan Turing Manuscript Sold.

Reuters video confirms that Alan Turing's manuscript was sold for more than $1 million including commission from Bonhams

Alan Turing's work for the British Government came to light after his death as depicted in his bio-pic starring Benedict Cumberbatch, the actor, who is distantly related to Bletchley Park codebreaker.

The manuscript is the only existing extensive manuscript of the mathematician and early computer science genius, containing mathematically formulas and basics of computer science.

Alan Turing died a homosexual in 1954 at the age of 41, however, Cumberbatch received a Best Actor Academy Award Nomination for his role in the film The Imitation Game, which won an Oscar for best Adapted Screenplay.
